General advice

First you tell us about your idea and how far you have come. Then we go through the idea together, and talk about the technology itself, potential market, distribution channels, cash flows and other things that come up along the way. The aim of the evaluation is to give you a basis for deciding whether you want to go ahead with the idea or not.

StudENT is an annual call where students can apply for a grant of up to NOK 1 million for the commercialization of their own business idea. Regardless of which other services have been used, each business idea will be able to receive help from Ard Innovation to design the application in up to 10 hours.

f you wish to use your results for commercial purposes, it is important to clarify your rights with your supervisor and other project participants. As a student, you own the rights to your invention yourself, but this is not the case for employees at NMBU. As this is regulated differently for students and staff, we recommend that the entire project group agrees before you as a student proceed with your results.

We at Ard Innovation are happy to help you with this.

Ard Innovation can hold both courses and workshops for students. Topics can be, for example, business planning, pitch training or commercialization applications. Ard Innovation can assist student associations or groups of students who want to increase their skills.

We are happy to contribute if you are going to present your business concept to Innovation Norway, Investors, participate in VentureCup or give presentations in other contexts. Then you must make a presentation in advance and present this to us. On the basis of this, we will give you feedback and tips and advice on how to get your message across in the best possible way.

This service consists of 10 hours at your disposal to develop your business idea. We usually use the Business Model Canvas, or other process tools that suit your project. The aim is to arrive at the best business strategy for the concept. We will also be able to help you with networks and information about possible funding sources. At the end of the first meeting, we agree on what needs to be done next, and draw up a plan for the collaboration going forward.
