Owners, Mandate and Board<\/h1>\n\n

Ard innovation contributes to increased value creation based on research, innovation and expertise from NMBU and NIBIO. Ard Innovation is owned 50% by NIBIO and 50% by NMBU. The company’s main purpose is the realization of work results and the development of a good environment for value creation at Campus \u00c5s.<\/p>\n \n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n

NIBIO<\/h2>\n \n

NIBIO’s mission is to contribute to food security, sustainable resource management, innovation and value creation, both nationally and internationally. The institute delivers research-based knowledge of high quality and is a national leader in many subject areas. NIBIO must provide good decision-making bases for administration, business and society, ensure national professional preparedness and contribute to the development of the circular bioeconomy.<\/p>\n \n NIBIO<\/a>\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n

NMBU<\/h2>\n \n

NMBU will contribute to securing the future through outstanding research, education, communication and innovation. NMBU shall contribute to a knowledge-based and open public debate and contribute to raising the public’s confidence in research methods and results. Mandate and Goals<\/h3>\n \n

Ard Innovation has administrative responsibility for realizable research results from NIBIO and NMBU and the right to enter into agreements on behalf of the institution. The activity is regulated in cooperation agreements with NIBIO and NMBU and in annual agreements on service purchases. Ard was established in 2016.<\/p>\n

Solutions to many of today’s and future challenges can be found in the outstanding research results that employees at NIBIO and NMBU develop. Together with employees of our owners, Ard Innovation works to realize the most promising solutions. To succeed in this, we put the idea owner at the center and build the project together. This may take longer, but ensures loyalty to the process and increases the success rate. Ard Innovation’s mission is described in the service purchase agreements with NMBU and NIBIO, and we want to develop together with our owners for a better future.<\/p>\n

For NIBIO department S\u00e6rheim and NMBU department H\u00f8yland, we in Ard Innovation have an agreement with Valid\u00e9 that they will act as technology transfer office (TTO) for these departments.<\/p>\n
